LearnWord Privacy Policy

LearnWord is a vocabulary learning app published by LIMITED LIABILITY COMPANY "Hadeys" (HADEYS LLC), a company registered in Ukraine, Reg. No (EDRPOU) 46230146. This policy explains what the app stores, where it is kept, and how you can remove it.
The short version: LearnWord does not ask for your name, email address, or phone number, shows no ads, and contains no analytics or tracking software.
1. Information we do not collect
LearnWord does not require an account and does not ask you to register. We do not collect:
- your name, email address, phone number, or postal address;
- your contacts, photos, camera, microphone, calendar, or health data;
- your precise or approximate location;
- payment or billing information;
- advertising identifiers such as the IDFA.
The app does not track you across other apps or websites, and we do not sell or rent any data to anyone.
2. Information the app stores
To make the app work, LearnWord keeps the learning content you create:
- Words and cards. The words you add or open, their translations, and the flashcards built from them.
- Learning progress. Review history, which cards you answered and when, and the resulting progress statistics.
- App settings. Preferences such as your chosen study options.
- An anonymous identifier. When the app first runs it creates an anonymous account on our backend. It is a random identifier with no name, email, or password attached, and it exists only so your progress can be saved and restored.
This data is stored on your device and is also synchronised to our backend so your progress survives reinstalling the app or moving to another device.
3. Where the data is kept
Data is stored locally on your device and in a database hosted by Supabase, our infrastructure provider, which acts as a data processor for us. Access to that database is restricted so that records created under your anonymous identifier are readable only through your own app installation.
Standard technical information, such as an IP address, may be processed by our hosting provider as part of delivering the service and keeping it secure. We do not use it to build a profile of you.
4. Third parties
LearnWord contains no advertising networks, no analytics services, and no social network software development kits. The only third party involved in running the app is Supabase, which hosts the database described above. Apple processes app downloads and updates under its own privacy policy.
5. How long we keep it
Learning data is kept for as long as you use the app. If an anonymous account is inactive for an extended period, we may delete the records associated with it.
6. Deleting your data
You can clear your learning data from inside the app using the reset option. Deleting the app from your device removes the local copy. To have the records associated with your anonymous account deleted from our backend, write to hello@hadeys.com and we will remove them within 30 days.
7. Children
LearnWord is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. Because the app requires no personal details at all, it stores nothing that identifies a child.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete data relating to you, and to object to its processing. Since the app holds no information that identifies you personally, we may need you to use the same device and app installation so we can locate the right records. 9. Security
Traffic between the app and our backend is encrypted in transit using HTTPS. No system is perfectly secure, but we keep the amount of data we hold to the minimum the app needs to work.
10. Changes to this policy
If we change how the app handles data, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Significant changes will also be noted in the app release notes.
